Tweat Up is a regular meet up of people on Twitter, a meeting to eat and drink.

Our first Tweat Up was in 2010 with Lucky Chip on a scrappy bit of tarmac in E8. Since then, we've held events with Pitt Cue, Big Apple Hotdogs, under bridges and in tramsheds, in parks and on rooftops. We held the first UK Chilli Stand Off, in Shoreditch last October, and Ribstock in Soho in April this year. So far, no deaths or arrests.

Jonathan Downey

Jonathan is the founding father of Tweat Up and a champion of the London street food scene. By day he owns The Rushmore Group, which runs award winning members bar Milk & Honey, as well as The Player in Soho and Redhook and Giant Robot restaurants in Clerkenwell.

Ruth Spivey

After Ribstock in April, this Ruth’s second Tweat Up. Normally found with a glass of wine, she does a bit of everything to help make these events happen and has many job titles, including the prestigious Head of Bunting, Director of Laminating and Erection Specialist (Marquees & Gazebos).

James Tabor

Festival veteran, James Tabor, is the founder of Feast Anglia and DogTown Hotdogs. He knows everything there is to know about generators, road closures and extracting raw sewage from portable toilet blocks. The only man seen at a festival wearing cufflinks.
